Police: 4 bank robberies within one week are connected


Four bank robberies across three cities are believed to be connected, Stockton police said. Two of the bank robberies happened Tuesday morning, while the other two happened within the past week.

Investigators believe the same suspect, or suspects, robbed the following banks:

Around 10:53 a.m., a suspect walked into the Chase Bank in the 2400 block of W. Kettleman Lane in Lodi and handed a demand note to a teller.

Around 10:24 a.m., a suspect walked into the Chase Bank in the 5700 block of Pacific Avenue in Stockton, handed the teller a demand note and then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then jumped into a white 4-door sedan with another suspect and drove away from the scene.

On Saturday around 11:30 a.m., a suspect walked into the Golden One Credit Union in the 800 block of W. March Lane in Stockton, handed the teller a demand note and then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was described as a black man between 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing dark sunglasses and a long sleeve button up shirt.

On Wednesday, around 1:10 p.m., a suspect walked into the Chase Bank in the 1800 block of N. Texas Street in Fairfield, handed the teller a demand note and then left with an unknown amount of cash.
