Manteca PD launches 'R.U.O.K.' program

MANTECA - Are you concerned about your elderly loved ones being alone in their home? If so, the "R.U.O.K." program is for you. A computerized phone call is made daily to confirm the safety of your family member or friend -- all for free!

If the person does not answer the call over a period of time, an R.U.O.K. coordinator will personally stop by their home to make sure they are okay.

The Manteca Police Department is providing this valuable, free service through "Seniors Helping Area Residents and Police" (S.H.A.R.P.).

For your peace of mind, call (209) 456-8240 to get set up today!
