On a weekly trip to the movies my husband and I parked on El Dorado and started crossing Weber when I noticed the utility box on the corner had a tape around it. I looked closer and saw that a design was being painted on it. Then I remembered the Utility Box Design Contest I had written about.

It seemed that everywhere I looked there was another decorated utility box – one across from French 25, another just above De Carli Plaza on El Dorado and one set in the landscaping of the B & M Building by Janet Leigh Plaza – four utility boxes in all.
