RIPON - The Annual May Citywide Spring Clean-Up will take place on the southwest side of Highway 99 from April 28 - May 2 and on the northeast side of Highway 99 from May 5 - 9.

The clean up collection, sponsored by the City of Ripon, offers residents within city limits, a chance to dispose of large items that are unable to fit in the refuse containers.

Unfortunately, there are some items that simply cannot be collected:

Cardboard / Newspaper

Loose trash which should be in refuse containers.

Lumber / Brush and/or yard waste.

Tree stumps

Lawn mower that is not drained from gas and/or oil

Dirt / Sod / Concrete / Asphalt

Car tires (exceeded the allotted amount of 2 per household)

Dead animals - (Please contact Ripon Animal Control Department at (209) 599-2102)

Commercial Demolition materials

Glass / Mirrors

Refrigerator or freezer

Air Conditioning Units / Hot Tubs / Spas

Televisions / Computer monitors (exceeded the allotted amount of 3 per household)

Commercial Business Material

Batteries

Tire Rims

Truck or tractor tires - (For disposal contact: Swier Tire at (209)599-7512)

Automobile parts too large

Paint / Types of chemical / Motor oil
