iShop Tracy Downtown Promotion Kicks-off Shopping Season

City of Tracy Partners With Tracy City Center Association and Tracy Chamber of Commerce to Promote Local Shopping Downtown with iShop Tracy Program

Tracy, Calif. – The City of Tracy is proud to announce its continued partnership with the Tracy City Center Association (TCCA) and the Tracy Chamber of Commerce to promote local shopping this holiday season. The goal for iShop Tracy Downtown is to engage and introduce residents and visitors to Downtown Tracy, while encouraging residents to spend their holiday shopping dollars locally. When residents shop local, they support local businesses, create and retain jobs, and contribute to the local tax base. This ultimately improves the City’s ability to provide essential government services such as police, fire, and parks and recreation that make our community a great place to live and thrive.

The goal of the iShop Tracy Downtown promotion is to boost local spending and support local businesses. The promotion will run from November 27, 2015 to December 31, 2015 and includes more than seventy (70) participating downtown businesses. Shoppers become eligible to enter a random drawing as part of iShop Tracy by earning one (1) drawing ticket per participating Downtown business, with a valid proof of purchase. Shoppers can earn a maximum of 20 drawing tickets by participating with local businesses. A random drawing will be held at the Tuesday, January 19, 2016 City Council meeting at 7:00PM, PDT, or shortly thereafter.

Prizes include:

• Grand prize winner will receive an Apple - iPad® Air 2 Wi-Fi 16GB.
• Second place winner will receive Apple - iPad® mini 2 with Wi-Fi - 16GB.
• Third place winner will receive $100 Apple iTunes Gift Card.

iShop Tracy program materials will be available at the City of Tracy Economic Development Division, TCCA district office, and some participating retailers.

To redeem drawing tickets, shoppers may either visit the City of Tracy, Economic Development Division at 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, California 95367 during normal business hours or may mail-in a completed entry form with valid purchase receipts to the City of Tracy Economic Development Division, “iShopTracy.” Persons interested in playing along with the iShop Tracy program should visit facebook.com/ishoptracy and www.thinkinsidethetriangle.com for official program rules and regulations.
