Manteca High School presents 'Day of the Arts' April 6

Manteca High School presents 'Day of the Arts' April 6

MANTECA - On Wednesday, April 6, Manteca High School will present its Day of the Arts from 5 - 8 p.m. in the Winter Gym on campus, located at 450 East Yosemite Avenue. The annual, free event will showcase the talented students in the school's visual and performing arts department.

There will be displays of art, video production shows (behind and in front of the camera work), architecture & wood products (many of the architecture students have been in state and national competitions), and performances by choir, band and drama departments.

Manteca High School has gained fame from its outstanding mural project, but the murals are only one part of the picture. For example, Manteca High's band will be one of just six high school bands in the state invited to take part in the Pacific West Band Festival, and the only school band from the Central Valley.

For tickets, call Julie at (209) 858-7340 ext. 56958 or Kathy at (209) 858-0832.
