Tracy, Calif. – The City of Tracy will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Tracy Animal Shelter on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 4:00 -5:00 p.m. at 2375 Paradise Avenue. The community is invited to attend the celebration, and participate in tours following the ceremony.

“We are really excited to officially unveil the new Animal Shelter to the community,” stated Tracy PD Support Operations Manager, Lani Smith. “Our community has worked hard to bring this project to fruition, and ultimately our displaced pets will benefit from it.”

The 5,600 square-foot facility will replace the former Tracy Animal Shelter located at 370 Arbor Road in Tracy. The Tracy Animal Shelter provides adoption, licensing and investigation services to the community, and is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 5:30 p.m.
