Sunshine here for the weekend; Rain rolls in Monday

Sunshine here for the weekend; Rain rolls in Monday

Sunshine is here to stay...at least for the weekend, so enjoy it while you can! News10 meteorologist Mellisa Paul says major weather changes are headed our way starting on Valentine's Day.

Saturday will be sunny and mild with highs in the mid 60s and lows in the upper 30s, making for very pleasant weather. Sunday we'll start to see some changes with more clouds rolling in.

Paul said a block in the jet stream, or storm track, will break down and allow a flood of moisture to come ashore early next week. Monday will start dry but showers may develop by the evening. Rain will last on and off Tuesday before steadier rain clouds move in for Wednesday. Showers will also linger into Thursday and Friday.

Three years ago, Kyle Ramirez, then 16, shocked workers at a Tracy health club when he showed up scared, starving, bruised, covered in soot and dragging a chain.  He said he was running from a house where he had been held captive and beaten.
